Overview of the Test Prep System

Prepare Your Students for the Annual State Tests

  1. Discuss/Explain hundreds of sample test questions over several topics.
  2. Students take sample tests online (7 to 15 questions/test).
  3. Print incremental AYP/API reports (classwide or individual students).
  4. Find student weaknesses and focus on areas that show fastest improvement.

Discussion Mode for Sample Test Questions

We provide a method that lets you easily present state standards sample test questions to your students. This discussion mode system lets you present each question with a projector (or overhead) and discuss each question with your students.

Simply display the questions with our online system. Explain the question to your students. Discuss the concepts. Make sure that your students all understand the concept being presented.

Have Students Take Online Sample Tests

We provide several sets of sample tests that your students can take in the computer lab, in the classroom, or at home. The tests are usually 7 to 15 questions, so your students can work at their own speed to complete the tests. When they click the "submit" button, we save their results so you can view class-wide reports or individual-stusent reports. Students also get instant feedback because the test results are displayed right on their computer screen (students can print the results for your files if you wish).

Making It Easier for Teachers

You can present questions on all of the core content areas.

Present/explain/discuss each question.

Students take the short tests.

View/Print reports at your convenience (instantly or months later).

Spot areas where students failed to understand the material and concentrate on those weak areas.

Print AYP/API-Type Reports

These reports help you monitor progress of the entire classes and individual students.

  1. Class Summary Report - sample
    • Correlated to State Standards
    • Shows areas of strength and weakness
  2. Individual Student Report - sample
    • Print an individual report for each student
    • Correlated to State Standards
    • Use the report in parent/teacher meetings
    • Shows strong and weak areas

Note: for best results, expose your students to these questions several times during the school year.

The Skill Builder System

We provide a system that lets your students practice answering questions that are directly related to the state standards questions. Select from hundreds of drills.

With the skill builder games, the student is given several questions and must locate the correct answer on the screen. In this example the student is asked to locate the coordinate where x=1 and y=8.

Note: We give you more questions throughout the year so you will be constantantly presenting (and your students will be constantly viewing) new questions.

State Standards Correlations

Currently we have all of our sample test questions correlated to the Oklahoma Department of Education State Standards. Our reporting system shows how students perform against Oklahoma Standards.

Your State will be correlated (at no extra charge) when we receive a subscription for 20 schools in your state. The 20 subscriptions can be from one district or several districts. We will also provide one week of on-site training (5 consecutive days in any/all of your schools) at no extra charge with 20 subscriptions.
